Shalom zachor invitation wording נוסח הזמנה לשלום זכר

A shalom zachor is on the first Friday night after a boy is born, so the card is short: a pasuk of thanks, the invitation, the night and the parsha, the place, and the father’s name.

Always Friday night

A shalom zachor is always on Friday night, so the card says בליל שב״ק. There is no daytime version.

At home or in shul

Write the place the way people know it: בביתי with the address, or the name of the shul or the hall with its address under it.

Arbes and a beer

Many shalom zachor designs show what the evening looks like: arbes on the table and a cold beer. Others are plain frames.
