Eve of the bris · Wording guide

Vachnacht & bris invitation wording נוסח וואך נאכט וברית

The vachnacht is the night before the bris, so one card invites to both: first the vachnacht, at home or in a hall, then the bris the next morning in shul. The father invites, in his own name.

No name for the baby

The name is given at the bris, so the card says הולדת בני, the birth of my son, and no name.

All three on one card

When the shalom zachor, the vachnacht and the bris fall in the same few days, all three go on one card, each with its own place and time. Look for “All Three” in the designs.

Sent in a day or two

The bris is on the eighth day, so the card is made quickly. Download it as a JPEG the moment you pay and send it on WhatsApp, or print it.
